ABOUT ME

Biography of Robin Anne Hannon

I was born in Westchester NY, and raised in Manhattan proper.  I lived in Manhattan most of my life and moved when I married my husband.  Since then I’ve lived in many places including: Nashville, Tennessee; Pensacola, Florida; New Jersey, and Maryland where I currently reside.

I have a husband that I’ve been married to 38 years, and two wonderful daughters.  Along with my daughters I have three incredible grandchildren that light up my life.

I have followed a healing path now for nearly twenty years.  I started as a nondenominational lay minister and I received my ordination through the N.C.I.O.M. (Nova Costria International Outreach Ministry) in 2000.

As well I have been officiating at weddings since 2000 and have had the honor of coordinating many successful weddings of all types and preferences.

I am also a Reiki Master Practitioner with certification in many different forms of Reiki.  I have worked with the FMH Regional Cancer Center in Frederick, Maryland giving Reiki treatments to their patients. As well I have volunteered at Frances Scott Key Mall Wellness Center in Frederick Maryland by giving Reiki to all who need it.

My most recent endeavor was the honor of working with Dr. Harold Bob at Season's Hospice of Baltimore, Maryland, providing Reiki to dying patients as well as training hospice staff in Reiki techniques and treatments.

I have been also providing teachings on journey work and self reflection through the art of the journey and breath work.
Some may ask what journey work is.  It is using the art of lucid dreaming, meditation, and visualization to get into a calm place.  It is in this place of calmness and stillness that I find the most wisdom flows, and I am able to tap into the source of my answers.  Lucid dreaming and visualization has been used for many purposes.  Cancer patients will often use it to help visualize shrinking a tumor.  Psychiatrists have used it for years to help with PTSD, trauma, and other related issues.

In sharing my dreams, visions, poems and thoughts it is my intent to use the gifts and talents I have to bring light and to be a facilitator and teacher.  View this book as a spiritual journey of sorts filled with various musings, thoughts, poems, and visions. May the reader find it enlightening, and as well may it provide food for thought.

This is a conglomeration of many years of meditation, thoughts, dreams, and vision journeys.  It is up to the reader to glean what they may, but my hope is that it will provide a platform to examine their own path and spirituality.
